How to play soccer professionally?

I would like to know what are the steps to becoming a professional soccer player. I'm 17 and I feel that Im good enough to maybe go pro someday, with some more training and conditioning and I just wanna know what can I do do increase my chances of picked up by a club. I know that playing in college helps out a lot but the thing is I dont wanna play for mls lol, I wanna play somewhere in Europe but don't I dont know how to pick up attention from European clubs. Also how does the FIFA thing work where they determine what country you play for? Because if i was born in another country but have dual citizenship who would I play for?
