Anyone have first hand experience with hifonics brutus BRZ1200.1D?

Im not familiar with the newer generation hifonics line. Ive read reviews stating this amp is great for the price. Can anyone confirm? Pondering to use on a pair of older model rockford fosgate 12" punch hx 2 series. They are dual 4ohm 500 watts rms each and 1000 max. I was considering a 1ohm setup. If I had to guess the year model of the rockfords Id say 2003. They are in mint condition. Picked them up for $130 in a well built box of 3/4" mdf. I practically stole them. I collect older model brands. Looking to match them with a decent amp.
